Susan Terris
Mrs. Terris is a strong advocate for students. She holds extremely high expectations for the students with whom she works, and strives to model compassion and empathy through her teaching.
Mrs. Terris uses Social Thinking as a strategy to help her students learn how to respect, listen to, and develop compassion for one another. She has a tremendous amount of respect for both students and their parents.
Why Walgrove? Mrs. Terris loves the small school and community feel of Walgrove. She believes that the staff is loving and caring toward students. She finds that all staff members at Walgrove have a common focus on advocating for the needs of our students. Walgrove has moved into the direction of innovation. Mrs. Terris especially loves the teachers’ and students’ participation in STEAM!
Bottom line….Walgrove is a “lovely little community.”
