Enroll at Walgrove
Walgrove is part of Local District West and LAUSD Board DIstrict 4, represented by elected official Nick Melvoin. It is a feeder school for Mark Twain Middle School and Venice High School, which also offer STEAM, GATE (Gifted) and Foreign Language magnets.
There are many ways your child might be eligible to attend our wonderful school.

Parents may also submit a late Open Enrollment application in person or online starting in early July. WE will contact you directly if/ when a seat becomes available.
District Permits
If you are not within the Walgrove footprint or LAUSD boundaries, district permits allow students to attend another LAUSD school than their designated neighborhood school (if space permits) or move from one school district to attend a school in another school district. Applications are available via our main office and should be signed and approved both by your school of residence and Walgrove.
Students with a valid permit to attend Walgrove may continue attendance without needing to re-apply annually.
More information on permits, both intra- and inter-district, can be found here: LAUSD Office of Permits & Student Transfers.
